Karate and in particular the style we do, Shotokan, is the most popular martial art in the world.

At MK Shotokan Karate Academy we aim to teach a high standard of karate with discipline and good dojo etiquette high on the agenda. Taking part in karate will help improve your fitness, focus, and discipline, it can also help relieve stress and promote good health. Most karate classes are just an hour long, but at MK Shotokan Karate Academy you will see that most of our classes last 1.5 hours. This enables us to work on all aspects of karate (Kihon, Kata and Kumite) in each lesson.
